The Little Hand Stitch Book Online:

A creative, contemporary approach to embroidery through basic design and color. This course serves as a basic introduction to the vast world of embroidery. Techniques and stitches will be worked in imaginative methods using color, line, shape, and balance. Using your own hand-dyed fabric and threads, you will create a variety of small, embroidered samples to include line, detached, textured, and composite stitches.

Join Gail Harker for 8 online class sessions which include personalized PowerPoint Presentations,  discussions with your tudor and other students, 25 videos and a PDF workbook of 14 lessons.. Workbook pdfs and videos will be sent to students after each mentored online session. There is lots of information about fabrics, fabric painting, threads, needles, techniques and stitch diagrams.

You can get to know and develop friendships with the other students during our online class sessions.  Unlike most online courses, you’ll be meeting online with your tutor and other students, to learn, discuss, and participate in a community of like-minded stitchers!
