There is an abundance of exciting ways that fabrics can be layered together to create images.  Learn 6 contemporary methods of working with fabrics such as sheer fabrics and felt to make works of art. In addition, you will be using new design skills.   Each day we will learn about and work with a different technique, unique fabrics and embroidery stitches to suit the techniques.  You will develop a set of small attractive samples and documentation about how to work with a pictorial subject and an abstract one.

This class may be purchased as part of the entire Level 2 Course of Stitch and Design (click here to see the entire course of study!) This series includes basic to intermediate coursework that teaches the student how to learn to work as a textile artist and gives a discount for the student who signs up for the whole series.

Alternatively, students can purchase any of the level 2 courses as a stand-alone, individual class.
