5” X 7” artwork by Penny Peters. The flowers in this series were inspired by the paint patterns on the silk ground fabric that reminded of flower forms. The flowers were stitched in straight stiches; the heavy polyester satin leaves were appliqued, then decorated with stitch. Padded and laced over mat board.
