The Exquisite Bead Book is a treasury of embellishment created in the time-honored artisanal way alongside teacher Gail Harker. This miniature work of art showcases a multitude of beading techniques and dramatic ways in which color, texture and pattern are combined. Each step of the journey shows how to structure and plan for an individual creation.

We begin by hand dyeing small individual fabric pieces that become pages for the beaded book. A stitched spine connects the beaded pages with the stitchery adding to the rich effect.

The class schedule has been organized into one powerful 3 day working session together in La Conner, WA with 2 online sessions to follow the class. The functionality of this book is in its beauty. New learning information and demonstrations are provided in the class and the interactive online sessions. Videos and student notes created specifically for this class are sent to all students after online sessions.
