Status: Enrollment Open – This Class is part of the Level 2 Course of Stitch and Design, but is open to all levels of experience.

Learn all the steps needed to digitally prepare and print your photos on fabric. You’ll work in our La Conner Center to effectively edit and crop your photos and then print them out.  Next you’ll work with Gail to choose stitches and techniques that will enhance your photos.  We will focus particularly on enhancement of color by layering unusual transparent fabrics over the printed fabric.  Both hand and machine stitches will be demonstrated.  A follow-up online session will help you continue your projects to completion!

This class may be purchased as part of the entire Level 2 Course of Stitch and Design (click here to see the entire course of study!) This series includes basic to intermediate coursework that teaches the student how to learn to work as a textile artist and gives a discount for the student who signs up for the whole series.

Alternatively, students can purchase any of the level 2 courses as a stand-alone, individual class.
