- 15 nights at the Littlebury Hotel, Bicester, Oxfordshire
- 2 nights shared cabin (for 2) aboard ferry to and from Normandy

- Ashmolean Museum in Oxford where we will see a special exhibit: The Eye of the Needle – virtuoso 17th-century embroideries from the internationally renowned Feller Collection, together with outstanding examples from the Ashmolean’s own holdings.
- The Victoria and Albert Museum
- Hardwick Hall, the 16th Century home of Bess of Hardwick and the repository of many fine embroideries
- 2014 Knitting & Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace to see Art and Embroidery
- Berrington Hall, home of the Snowshill Collection
- The D-Day museum at Portsmouth where we will view the 34 panel Overlord Embroidery, commemorating the D-Day invasion of France, and inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. These two Embroideries in France and England commemorate the only successful invasions across the English Channel (approximately 1000 years apart).
- A weekend trip to France to view the nearly 1,000 year old Bayeux Tapestry in Normandy
- Oxfordshire Museum and Museum Resource Center, which houses a costume collection numbering near 8000 items
- A visit to Kelmscott Manor, home of the extraordinary 19 Century designer William Morris
- A day out to visit some Cotswold villages such as Stowe-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water
- In addition to all of this, some free time for any who wish to take a day to go to London, meander through nearby Oxford, or tour some of the lovely old villages in the area
- Other venues of note, including medieval embroidered bookbindings at the British Library
